Telemetry systems form a large part of Andronics' research and development activities. A telemetry system is a highly automated communications process by which measurements are made and other data collected at remote or inaccessible fixed points and transmitted to receiving equipment for monitoring.
Andronics is also a market leader within the Telematics industry with our Vehicle Management Systems. In general this type of system consists of four main components. These are the Mobile Unit that resides in each vehicle, the Communication Medium through which the data is transmitted, the Base Unit that receives all incoming data messages from the vehicles, and the Map and Vehicle Display Software which will display the vehicles current position.
Mobile asset management systems, as with fixed telemetry sites, require a high proficiency in wireless technology,
information technology, and electronics.
